Le Café au Sommet

For a charming café perched on a hilltop in the French Alps, right beside a picturesque little church, I designed a complete menu that evokes the serene beauty and authentic character of its alpine setting.

The cover features a soft, painterly illustration of the café’s iconic neighboring church on a sunny hillside. A woman in a flowing dress walks peacefully through the wildflower-dotted meadow, with the church’s white steeple rising against a vast blue sky. The illustration immediately transports the viewer into this peaceful, elevated world — “au sommet” (at the summit).

Inside, the menu unfolds with a clean, elegant layout that balances warmth and modernity. Mountain-inspired elements appear subtly throughout: delicate line drawings of alpine landscapes and topographic contours frame the sections. The typography is refined yet friendly, perfectly suited to the café’s inviting atmosphere.
