Menu Design & Illustration - for Little Dancer’s Cocktail Bar (fictional place for portfolio purposes)

Inspired by a night out in Paris, in a fancy, cozy, old fashioned cocktail bar dancing event down the streets of Montmartre. The music was funky, the people were well dressed and respectful. I wanted to capture the warm atmosphere of the place, the people dancing, the people performing and the people simply watching.

I first started with a black an white illustration evoking the refined, atmospheric 1920s–30s ambience taking place in the bar. With minimalist yet luxurious cover design in rich beige with clean, centered serif typography on textured paper-like background and featuring hand-sketched drink illustrations for the clear human touch.
